Honest answers to fair questions
If your question isn't here, just ask. The enquiry form goes straight to me.
Can you guarantee I'll pass the CAMRT exam?
No, and please be careful with anyone who says yes. No tutor controls an exam result.
What I promise instead: a personalised plan built on your actual weak areas, coaching from someone who teaches this curriculum for a living, and honest feedback about your readiness at every step. My students' performance on certification exams has consistently been outstanding. That's their work, supported by my preparation.
Am I eligible to write the CAMRT exam?
Only CAMRT can answer that. They make every eligibility decision through their credential-assessment process. Be wary of anyone (including a tutor) who tells you you're eligible; that's not ours to decide.
What I can do: walk you through how the process works, help you understand the documents and steps, and prepare you once your eligibility is confirmed. See the Canada pathway page for the full picture.
I trained in the Philippines, India, Egypt, or elsewhere. Can you still help me?
Yes. Helping internationally educated radiographers is not a sideline of my work. It is my work. I've spent eighteen years teaching students from dozens of countries, and the coaching is built specifically for the challenges of writing a Canadian exam with a non-Canadian education: the critical-thinking style, the English nuances, the cultural context.
How much does coaching cost, and how do I pay from outside Canada?
The flagship 6-session package is $450 USD; single sessions are $90/hour; add-ons (mock exam, pathway call, retake diagnostic) range from $80–120. Everything is listed on the services & pricing page, with no hidden costs.
Students pay from all over the world. When you enquire, I'll confirm the payment options available from your country before you commit to anything.
How are sessions delivered?
Online, over Zoom, one-to-one. We share the screen for images, practice questions, and worked examples. Time zones are never a problem. My students span the Gulf, Asia, and North America, and we find a slot that works. Sessions are scheduled around shift work all the time.
What makes you different from the online question banks?
Question banks are useful. I assign practice questions myself. But a bank can only tell you what you got wrong. It can't teach you how a Canadian examiner thinks, coach you through a patient-care scenario, or notice that your real obstacle is an English nuance rather than a radiography gap.
From eighteen years of post-exam debriefs: those two things, critical thinking and language and cultural context, are what actually decide this exam for internationally educated candidates. They need a live coach. That's the job a question bank can't do.
I already failed the exam once. Can you help me?
Yes. Retake students are some of my favourite people to coach, because the fix is usually findable. We start with a retake diagnostic: review what happened, identify the real causes (it's often not what students assume), and build a focused plan. A failed attempt is information, not a verdict.
Do you help with the immigration or visa side?
No, and that's a legal boundary, not a preference. In Canada, paid immigration advice may only be provided by licensed immigration consultants (RCIC) or lawyers. I keep our work strictly on the certification side, and I'll point you toward licensed help for the rest.
Will passing the CAMRT exam help me move to Canada?
Certification and immigration are separate processes run by separate authorities. Passing the CAMRT exam makes you certifiable as an MRT. It does not, by itself, grant any right to enter or work in Canada.
Being qualified in an in-demand profession can certainly matter to your overall plans, but visas, work permits, and permanent residence are decided by Canada's immigration authorities. For that side, talk to a licensed consultant or lawyer. I'll handle the exam side with you.
Are you affiliated with CAMRT or ARRT?
No. Allied Health Tutoring is fully independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to CAMRT, ARRT, or any certifying body. I prepare candidates for their exams; the bodies themselves run the exams and make all certification decisions. Always confirm current requirements with the official organisation.
